How To Hang Small Signs and Banners Less Than 10 Pounds From Drop Ceilings
“How do I hang small signs or banners from my drop ceiling” is a common question people ask, and with the right tools and techniques, it can be simple task to complete.
Creating an appealing display for your space involves more than just a sign with attractive graphics. How and where you mount your signs or banners is crucial to enhancing the signs visibility and overall effectiveness. For those dealing with drop ceilings using standard T-bar, two effective and visually pleasing connecting methods include our ClikMagnets and our E-Z Twist-On Metal Ceiling Clip. The ClikMagnets range is pulling power from 5 to 20 lbs.
- The Regular ClikMagnet has up to a 5 lb. pull.
- The Super ClikMagnet and Round Blue have up to a 10 lb. pull
- The Round Red has up to a 20 lb. pull.
ClikMagnets attached to the sign with LoopLine are easily installed from the safety of the floor using our installation tools the MagPole and MagMover.
The E-Z Twist-On part rotates onto the T-bar and requires the use of a ladder. The E-Z Twist-On Metal Ceiling clip has a greater holder power of up to 30 lbs. It too is compatible with LoopLine
Our LoopLine connecting cord joins the sign to either ceiling clip. LoopLine ensures your sign hang level. Knot tying is not required with LoopLine. This part is available in 82 ft. and 328 ft. spools in white, clear or black. It has a strong 25 lb. tensile strength and replaces monofilament, string and barb and possibly jack-chain.
This guide walks you through the process of securely hanging your signs, banners, or displays using our ceiling clips and LoopLine connecting cord.
